Linear Construction
Linear Construction
Land Development and Construction operations are heavily regulated and enforced upon by federal, state, and local storm water agencies. If your project is greater than 1 acre or you’re building in a larger common plan of development, you are required by the State of Texas, and many other states, to comply with the storm water regulations stated in the construction general permit. These regulations affect new construction, additions to existing projects, demolitions, off-site/utility construction, and linear construction.
These regulations can be costly and confusing. Our experts have developed storm water compliance plans for all types of companies affected by the construction general permit. When we create your compliance program we have two main goals. We want to make sure that you maintain compliance to avoid fines or work stop orders, and we want to keep your cost of compliance as low as possible.
Our compliance team will prepare your permit applications, verify your permit documents have been executed, produce your project’s SWPPP, and fulfill all your inspection obligations. Our program has cost saving measures built into every step of this process. For instance, prior to your SWPPP being developed, we dispatch an environmental expert to your project to verify your erosion control plan is effective and as cost efficient as possible. If our expert finds less expensive erosion/sediment control options, we will communicate these to you. Because we specialize in storm water, our SWPPPs are produced at a low and cost-effective rate. You can realize immediate savings when having our team complete your SWPPP.
We also have a compliance alert system, Compliance 911, that will communicate serious compliance violations from our inspections to various levels of management. These notices are sent out as soon as our inspector observes the violation. We want you to have the opportunity to resolve any enforcement issues before an agent can arrive at your site. Throughout the life of your project, our Inspector will communicate with your on-site representative weekly to discuss any potential environmental issues and possible solutions.
Standard with our inspection services, we also have our certified staff routinely conduct an EPA Ready SWPPP Audit. Should an enforcement agent ever visit your project, we immediately dispatch a member of our Enforcement Response Team to assist you in avoiding fines, penalties, or work stop orders.
When your project is completed we will ensure that your permit is closed in a timely manner. If your permit is active, you are vulnerable to enforcement activity.
